Reverend Delbert R. Pope is a native of Seat Pleasant, Maryland, was licensed to preach the gospel in 1983, ordained in 1994, and has served in ministry in the Shenandoah Valley since 1998.
Reverend Pope has ministered internationally, through music and worship, and ministering the Word of God. He is humbled to serve the St. Luke Baptist Church.
Reverend Pope is married to his love, Kimberly, who is an invaluable asset to their family and ministry. Together they have three wonderful children, Deborah, Kyle, and Micah.
Pastor Pope is convinced that it is through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word that the body of Christ is empowered to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth and bring lost humanity back to HIM!
